See how Glencar delivers projects that make a difference

“We have recently completed a significant Science and Technology development with Glencar and I can confirm that it has been a pleasure working alongside Glencar on the Tech Foundry 3 project. Their performance and professionalism has been exemplar from beginning to end and the collaborative approach to project execution made a complicated project just that bit easier. We’d welcome the opportunity to work with Glencar on future schemes.”

“We have been working with Glencar Construction since 2022 and have found them to be an outstanding main contracting partner for the prestigious Ealing Film Studio expansion. From day one, they have demonstrated a proactive and user-friendly approach throughout the first and second stage tenders, particularly the latter stage where we had to meet a tighter client’s budget than originally expected. Site delivery has been very professionally handled as the estate has over 500 students in 5 buildings adjacent the construction project. Communication has always been clear, and timelines were met to the satisfaction of all stakeholders. I have no hesitation in recommending them to other Clients and have been particularly impressed by how they go about their business in a collaborative and non-contractual manner.”

“I have not seen a better build or indeed a better run project. This project will be the jewel in the crown for UK media build and I’m sure will set new standards in terms of design and delivery. It stands as a testament to the Glencar team.”

“Glencar’s approach to health & safety at LHR has been exemplar throughout the project, the team have gone above and beyond to maintain a safe secure environment for the project and create a culture within their business that has made it a pleasure to work with. Well done Glencar Team.”

“We have been extremely happy with Glencar’s performance on this project from start to finish, a very professional operation. I would particularly like to express my thanks to the site based team, nothing was ever to much trouble and the set up was excellent.”

“Glencar Construction delivered two industrial units at Valor Park Tottenham, and the experience exceeded our expectations at every stage. From the outset, the team demonstrated a level of professionalism and commitment that gave us complete confidence in the project. What truly set the project team at Glencar apart was their proactive approach, they consistently stayed ahead of potential challenges, communicating clearly and keeping us well-informed throughout. Rather than simply executing instructions, they engaged with us as genuine build partners, bringing collaborative energy and thoughtful problem solving to every conversation. The project was delivered on time and to an outstanding standard. The project team at Glencar’s ability to deliver both quality and punctuality is a real differentiator. We would not hesitate to recommend Glencar Construction to anyone and look forward to working with them again.”

“We worked with Glencar on a complex refurbishment within a live shopping centre, and their collaborative, hands on approach helped us navigate the challenges of delivering in a busy operational environment. Their use of Nialli’s Visual Planner, facilitated by IBE Partnership, brought real clarity to the process, enabling the team to coordinate effectively and identify constraints early. Throughout the project, their commitment to minimising disruption to customers was evident.”

“Chancerygate placed the building contract with Glencar to complete our development at Zephyr Park, Dagenham. The original contractor had gone into Administration and we worked very closely with Glencar to assess the current status of each sub-contractor package, outstanding works, costs to complete and programme. Once concluded, we appointed Glencar to complete the development. It’s not an easy situation to take on a project but Glencar demonstrated a commitment and detailed diligence to work through the pre-restart issues thoroughly and quickly, allowing us to re-start the development and complete the scheme as soon as practical. The quality of work on site and in particular their level of communication with ourselves and the wider project team throughout the project was excellent. We were very pleased with the completed development and the process of working with Glencar to get there.”

“Baynham Meikle has worked with Glencar Construction on a number of projects over the past six years, collaborating with teams from both its Midlands and Southern offices.

Time and again, we have found Glencar to employ highly competent individuals who collectively form an impressive and effective delivery team. There is a genuine “can-do” attitude throughout the business and a clear determination to deliver high-quality work, protect the company’s reputation and carry it forward. In our experience, this commitment to doing a good job appears to be Glencar’s primary motivation.

Glencar is reasonable and constructive to work with. Its teams’ understand our discipline and the technical and coordination processes we must follow to deliver our services properly, supporting us throughout rather than creating unnecessary barriers.

Glencar also encourages subcontractors, specialist consultants and delivery partners to operate as one construction team, working towards the common goal of delivering good work on time. Where challenges arise, this “all-for-one” approach means they are addressed collaboratively, practically and with the least possible disruption to the project.

Our experience of working with Glencar has been consistently positive, and we would be pleased to continue our relationship with them on future projects.”

“I am pleased to provide this reference for Glencar Construction.
Glencar were successful in securing and are currently delivering a 47-acre car storage facility at the Port of Grimsby. From the outset, their innovative design solution and highly professional team gave us real confidence throughout the design and mediation phase of the tender. Our early engagements were notably collaborative, solutionsfocused, and conducted with a high degree of professionalism.
On the strength of this approach, we awarded Glencar the project with high expectations — expectations which they have fully met. They have proven to be a genuine pleasure to work with, demonstrating consistent engagement and commitment to achieving the right balance between robust contract administration, high-quality design outcomes, and the practical constraints of programme delivery.
This project marks the beginning of what we believe will be a strong and productive working relationship between Associated British Ports and Glencar Construction. On the basis of our experience to date, we would not hesitate to recommend them”
